With early streaming success and critics already noting him as one to watch, Warner Bros. / Warner Music Nashville’s Cale Dodds is heading into the next chapter of his career saying one thing: “I Like Where This Is Going.” Dodds penned his brand new single of the same name (listen HERE) alongside producer busbee and award-winning songwriter Nicolle Galyon. He also revealed a visualizer video for the optimistic, romance-tinted track that features some of the highlights of his young career (watch HERE).

CALE DODDS RUNS FOR ST. JUDE'S CHILDREN'S RESEARCH HOSPITAL

Cale is calling on his friends and fans to help raise money for the kids at St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital. He will be running the Nashville Rock and Roll Marathon on April 27thand hopes you’ll donate and share to help him reach his goal of raising $10,000 for St. Jude. In the first 24 hours, Cale’s friends and fans have raised almost $2,000 – let’s keep it going! 

 

Each week Cale will recruit a Nashville artist or friend as a guest “trainer” to help prepare him for the race and raise donations for the St. Jude cause. Cale and his team have until April 27thto raise donations for St.

CALE DODDS REVEALS “WHERE I GET IT FROM” IN BRAND NEW SONG + VIDEO

It wasn’t a stretch for Warner Bros. / Warner Music Nashville recording artist Cale Dodds to write a song about a downhome childhood and a country upbringing – the Columbus, GA native pulled from his own life to pen “Where I Get It From” alongside Sarah Buxton, Corey Crowder and Jared Mullins (listen HERE). He and his friends take fans on a summer afternoon river ride in the song’s official music video, directed by Dustin Haney (watch HERE). 

“When we wrote this song, I had one goal – I simply wanted to write a fun song that told my story and paid homage to my roots,” Dodds said.

TONIGHT: CALE DODDS TO MAKE GRAND OLE OPRY DEBUT

Warner Bros. / Warner Music Nashville rising star Cale Dodds knows exactly what he’s gonna do about it – he’s gonna take the legendary stage at the Grand Ole Opry for his debut performance tonight during the 7:00 p.m. show. The Columbus, GA native, who now calls Music City his home, has a deep-rooted admiration for the historic institution. 

“The Opry has actually been a part of my musical journey since before I moved to Nashville,” said Dodds. “My MawMaw used to play the Opry on the radio back in Georgia growing up. It had a big influence on my knowledge of and love for country music.
